WEATHER IMPACTS ON THE PROGRAMME
In a limited programme reduced because of the weather, Drayton and Fuzzy Duck made up some ground on Bond St Trophies Hinckley Premier One leaders Grendon with both securing wins. Drayton overcame Haunchwood Sports 4-1 and are three points off the lead while Brady Curtis scored twice for Fuzzy Duck as they beat Ridge Lane 2-0.
In Raihan’s Indian Takeaway Division Four the only game to escape the weather involved two teams in the bottom three and New Baron Lions came out on top beating Red Lion Barwell 2-1. Jack Chamberlain scored the Red Lion goals, but Jack Garrett and Kieran Mann secured the points for New Baron.
Acorn moved into round two of the Stockingford Charity Cup thanks to a 7-2 win over Bedworth Bank. Richard Gazeley helped them on their way with a hat trick, Ryan White, Jordan White, Robert Tromans and Joe Daniels completed the scoring.
The Stockingford Charity Cup Round One postponed fixtures, will take place in early January, with a view to having all the Round Two fixtures to take place for January 30th 2022.
