NUNEATON & DISTRICT SUNDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE 


Whitestone stay out in front at the top of Mark Blair Mortgage & Finance Division Two after they beat Crows Nets Sports 8-3. Todd Lovett bagged a hat trick for Whitestone, Jack Edwards 2, Adam Barber, Rob Ison and Dave Ison scored the others. Collycroft Royal Oak Warriors moved into second spot after they beat Barwell Cricketers 6-1. Acorn leapfrogged over Barwell Cricketers after they beat SS Bulls Head 7-5. Doubles from Jordan White & Ryan White, with singles from Steve Merry, Ben Makins and Darren Burrage sealed the points with SS Bulls Head centre back Andy Wainscott scored three of the Bulls Head goals, Darren Page and Josh Atkinson added the singles. 

Connor Pugh, Jody Green and Liam Fisher all found the net for Athletico Duke as they went on to beat Swan Dive 3-1. Jordan Cook scored the Swan Dive goal. 

Frank Parker moved up a place in Bond St Trophies Hinckley Premier One after they beat Witherley United 3-2. Chanda Mulenga scored twice for Parker’s, Richard Jones the other. Jordan Coles and Shaun Clarke replied for Witherley. Toby Bartram found the net for Hartshill Sports as they shared the points in a 1-1 draw with Drayton. 

The top of the table clash in EJ Group Ltd Division One between Griff & Coton Manor and Hansom Cabs ended all square at 2-2. Rogue Elite moved into second spot on goal difference after they beat Chetwynd Phoenix 3-2. Lewis Hopewell, Jack Joyce, and Don Hendrie scored the Rogue Elite goals, Josh Till and Dan Laws replied for Chetwynd. Bedworth Travellers consolidated their mid table spot with a 4-2 win over Bedworth Liberals, with Konnor Frankum (2) and singles from Brad McKenzie and Ben Cole netting for Travellers. Callum Harrison & Kelvin Etheridge replied for the Liberals. 

Sunnyside Inn missed the chance to take over top spot in Nuneaton Trophies & Giftware Division Three when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Ambleside. Scott Crozier was on target for Ambleside, with Steven Pywell replying for the Inn. Attleboro FC enjoyed a 4-0 win over CJ’s Athletic while gaols from Kyle Olner, Jared Atkins and substitute Craig Morris earned Haunchwood Sports Res a share of the points in a 3-3 draw with Red Lion Sapcote. Tom Hall, Luke Moore, and Braydon Yorke replied for Red Lion Sapcote. 

The top two in Raihan’s Indian Takeaway Division Four both won to extend their advantage at the top. Leaders Grendon Res beat White Hart 4-1, with goals from Charlie Gilks, Lloyd Story, Jamie King and Steven Jakovlevs.  While Coniston Tavern beat Tarro Lounge Caterpillar 6-4. Matthew Skragga bagged four goals for Griff & Coton Manor Res as they beat Red Lion Barwell 5-1. Darren Hodge scored the other Griff goal, Riley Poxon scored the Red Lion goal.
