NUNEATON & DISTRICT SUNDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Bond Street Trophies Ltd Premier One Champions Frank Parker kicked off their league campaign this week but tasted defeat after they were beaten 3-2 by Haunchwood Sports. Adam Morris, Dale Morris, and Liam Brown all found the net for Haunchwood in the only Premier Division game played this week.
Drayton Res
enjoyed a 7-2 win over Bedworth Conservatives, Richard Horsfall and Josh Hood
scored the Conservatives, to take Drayton into top spot in EJ Group Ltd
Division One. Bedworth Liberals joined them on four points after they drew 2-2
with Chetwynd Phoenix. Rogue Elite take third place thanks to their 3-0 win
over Griff & Coton Manor, with goals from Josh Wright (2) and Bradley Corbett.
SS Bulls Head are the early leaders in Mark Blair Mortgage & Finance Division Two, a point being enough from a 2-2 draw with Whitestone to keep them ahead. Whitestone took an early lead from the penalty spot, but SS Bulls Head missed one of their own before Leon Blair headed in Lewis Alleston’s cross to draw them level. Whitestone restored their advantage before half time and after the break Bulls Head were grateful to keeper Connor Bates for pulling off some fine saves to keep Whitestone out. Josh Atkinson drew Bulls Head level for the second time to complete the scoring. Athletico Duke jump into second thanks to their 8-0 win over Chetwynd Phoenix Res. Ben Barlow bagged a hat trick for Duke, Lee Lovett scored two of the others. Swan Dive kicked off their season with a 4-3 win over Stoneycroft Utd. In a hard-fought game, Sam Mansfield, Shawn Barton, and Jarrod Stone scored the Stoneycroft goals.

Trophies & Giftware Division Three, LNFC 18 moved into second spot after
they beat Chase 4-1 while Thurlaston Magpies won their first game in the NDSFL
beating CJ’s Athletic 2-1.
Lamb &
Flag Res took their goals tally to 12 in two games after they beat New Baron Lions
7-0 to take top spot in Raihans Indian Takeaway Division Four. Phoenix Utd join them on 6 points after
they beat Conny Panthers 3-1, Dylan Perry scored the Panthers goal. White Hart
are up to fourth courtesy of their 4-0 win over Red Lion Barwell.
