NUNEATON & DISTRICT SUNDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE 

MATCH DAY 23 - REPORT (SUNDAY FEBRUARY 6th 2022)
Collycroft Royal Oak Warriors moved to within three points of Mark Blair Mortgage & Finance Division Two leaders Whitestone, after they beat Bedworth Liberals 7-0 with Chris Camwell scoring four of the goals. Dylan Ashfield, Jamie Matthews, and Ethan Baynham added the singles. Barwell Cricketers climbed four places to fourth thanks to their 6-1 in over S S Bulls Head. Connor Beasley, Ben Adams, Ian McKay, and Tom Duplock were among the Barwell scorers. Swan Dive and Crows Nest Sports shared the points as they drew 1-1. Nathan McInnes scored the Swan Dive goals; Scott Harris replied for Crows Nest.

Steve Pywell scored twice for second placed Sunnyside Inn; Corey Cousins added a single as they beat Attleborough Sports 3-1 in Nuneaton Trophies & Giftware Division Three. Ethan Cousins scored the Attleborough reply. Chase are level on points with Sunnyside and stay in that position thanks to a 4-3 win over CJ’s Athletic. Ryan Varden and Daniel Rust both scored twice for Chase, Chris Dale, Jordan Ludlow, and MaCaulay Fellows replied for CJ’s. Tentr Valley stay out in front though beating Red Lion Sapcote 4-2. Clayton Moore, Stephen Foster, Connor McCallum, and Michael Sadler scoring their goals. Kieran Harris scored both Red Lion replies.

The top two in Raihan’s Indian Takeaway Division Four did not play this week but third place Tarro Lounge Caterpillar closed the gap to a point in third after they beat Lamb & Flag Res 2-1. Noel Gilbert and Josh Doody scored the Tarro Lounge goals.

George Illes scored twice for Conny Panthers in their 3-2 win over Griff & Coton Manor Res. Jason Legg scored their other goal, Matthew Skragga and Gary Harris replied for Griff.

Danny Winterbotham and a free kick from Jack Chamberlain found the net for Red Lion Barwell but a brace from Kai Messenger and a single from James Harris helped opponents Bedworth Bank Res to a 3-2 win. At the other end of the table, Attleboro Sports Res and New Baron Lions shared the points as they drew 3-3.

Reece Johnston, Jordan Coles, and Nathan Billington all found the net for Witherley as they beat Hartshill Sports 3-1 in the only Bond Street Trophies Premier  League game to beat the weather, Kieran Palmer replied for Sports.
