History - 1966 to Present Day

The Premier League Challenge Trophy was first played for in the League in season 1966-67. The

competition is "Open" to all Member Clubs "Of the Premier League". The winners in 2022-2023 were HANSOM CAB FC, who picked of the trophy for the 1st time, in beating GRIFF & COTON MANOR FC 6 - 0 .

Hansom Cab FC 6 - 0 Griff & Coton Manor FC

PREMIER LEAGUE CHALLENGE TROPHY FINAL

GRIFF & COTON MANOR FC 0 – 6 HANSOM CAB FC
Hansom Cab FC lifted the Premier League Challenge Trophy after they beat Griff & Coton Manor FC 6-0 in the final.

Charlie Adcock opened the Hansom Cab account after 17 minutes with Liam Storer doubling the advantage on 25 minutes. Griff then had the ball in the net, but it was chalked off by the Assistant referees flag.

Hansom Cab went straight down the other end and Jes Adcock converted a chance for 3-0. Liam Storer grabbed his second from a corner just before half time.

Jack Whitehurst and Charlie Adcock again completed the scoring early in the second half.

Congratulation's to both teams, and to the Match Officials of GRAHAM SWAN, CIPRIAN GROSU, BILL CANAVAN and GLYN WATKINS .

HANSOM CAB FC were appearing in their 1st PREMIER LEAGUE TROPHY FINAL and their inaugural win. GRIFF & COTON MANOR FC it was also their first final Appearance. After a up and down seasons both Clubs retained their positions in the Premier League for the 2023-2024 Season.
