Vernon Baggott Memorial Cup - Final 2021-2022

BARWELL CRICKETERS FC 2-1 SAUNDERS FC
In a closely contested game Barwell Cricketers came from behind to win the Vernon Baggott Memorial Cup for the first time after they beat Saunders 2-1 in the final.  Kyle Page gave Saunders the lead after half an hour but within four minutes Tom Haines found the equaliser for Barwell.  With both sides having chances after the break and with penalties looking favourite to decide the tie, Tom Duplock headed in the winner from a corner with only two minutes left on the clock.
