The League Two Championship was first played for in the League in season 1969-70. The competition is a League  of Clubs competing for the HONOUR of being crowned as CHAMPIONS. This Season 2022-2023 the Champions were BARWELL CRICKETERS FC and the Runners-Up AMBLESIDE AFC RES.

BARWELL CRICKETERS FC this seasons League Champions had an exceptional season, in winning the League Two Crown, following their 2021 success in lifting the League Three Championship.

AMBLESIDE AFC RES this seasons Runners Up were another Club that had a super season when they were also Runners-Up in the Pete Smith Memorial Trophy.
