History - 1967 to Present Day


The League One Championship was first played for in the League in season 1967-68. The competition is a League  of Clubs competing for the HONOUR of being crowned as CHAMPIONS. This Season 2022-2023 the Champions were COLLYCROFT ROYAL OAK FC and the Runners-Up DRAYTON FC RES.

COLLYCROFT ROYAL OAK WARRIORS FC this seasons League Champions and "TEAM OF THE YEAR" had an exception season, completing a League & Cup Double and reaching the Final of the NUNEATON TRIBUNE CHALLENGE CUP, losing 4-1 to FRANK PARKER FC. 

DRAYTON FC RES this seasons Runners Up were another Club that had a superb season when they won the Vernon Baggott Memorial Cup, the Pete Smith Memorial Cup, and losing to Collycroft Royal Oak in the League One  Cup.
